About Tracy
I spent over twenty years as a professional French horn player, on the world's stages with renowned conductors, composers, and musicians. When I decided to build something new, I started completely from scratch — no audience, no email list, no idea how any of this worked.
I started by honing my skills as a writer and podcaster in the tiny niche of classical musicians seeking unique careers. Over that time, my podcast hit 100K downloads and I built a business to $50K in the first year with just 300 email subscribers — and helped my musician clients with almost no audiences or online content creation collectively earn $80K in just 4 months working together.
I eventually wanted to broaden my focus and finally landed on Substack in the fall of 2025, quickly becoming known as the "Notes Queen" — growing my list from 0 to 1,200 in just a few months using the strategy I now teach to coaches, consultants, and experts who are ready to build their own platform.
I don't teach theory. Everything I share comes from building it myself — the wins, the mistakes, and the unsexy parts nobody talks about. My approach is simple: write like yourself, show up consistently, and let your thinking do the selling.
I live in Mexico with my husband (a professional violinist) and our teenage daughter. The world and the platforms are changing fast — AI has accelerated everything. I've learned how to use AI to organize, strategize, and move faster, while infusing real human intelligence and voice into the writing you actually publish.
